Biografía del autor:
Thomas Gray (1716-71) spent most of his life in the colleges of Cambridge and his later years were devoted early English, Icelandic and Celtic verse. He turned down the offer of the laureateship in 1757.
Charles Churchill (1731-64) is best knownas a satirist.
William Cowper (1731-1800) is the most prominent poet of the evangelical revival and the precursor to Wordsworth as a poet of Nature.
Dr Katherine S. H Turner, is a fellow of St Peter's College, Oxford.
