The Chairman, vice-chairman and resident members were appointed a General Purposes Committee to take charge of any business arising between meetings.

The Assistant Secretary submitted an estimate of the probable cost of the cleaning and painting required in the Society's House. This was remitted to the General Purposes Committee, with powers, as was also the making of arrangements for evening meetings during the winter months.
