For the excellent series of papers on Arizona practice we are in debted chiefly to L. D. Ricketts, President of the Institute at the time of the Arizona Meeting, whose energetic solicitation was ably seconded by the Executive Committee of the Arizona Local Section. It is a pleasure to record our appreciation of the splendid work of Dr. Ricketts and his friends of the Southwest in enriching the literature of the Institute.

Volumes LV and LVI will contain all the papers printed in the monthly Bulletin during the year beginning March, 1916, but no entire Bulletin is superseded by this one volume.
