Each double page spread poses a question about an aspect of history and answers it through written and pictorial primary sources. The series focuses on the schemes of work and each book includes primary source material, timelines, charts and maps. This book includes: see for yourself boxes, which explain the historical significance of key places around the UK; fresher, improved design for added interest; variety of text types are employed to link to literacy learning; more explanation boxes; and improved images.
