Lisa Jackson, RN, CHC, RYT is an author, speaker, coach and founder of Carpe Diem Wellness. “Chef Lisa” was a popular presenter at Living Social’s 918F Street Demo Kitchen where she taught thousands how to prepare quick nutritious recipes. Her initial sold-out classes “Superfoods” was extended due to popular demand and she was invited back for two more series before 918F street closed their doors. As a retired Registered Nurse and a Certified Health Coach with AADP and a Registered Yoga Teacher, Lisa had the audience moving to music and learning not only how to cook but why each food added to overall health and wellbeing. Lisa’s favorite testimonial was, “Lisa, you are truly saving lives today.” Lisa has also appeared on Comcast cable cooking show with a demo of her zucchini pasta marina with pesto and raw vegan parmesan “cheese”. She has also been a repeat guest for Whole Foods Community Cooking Classes. As a mother of four children, two of whom have been touched by cancer, Lisa is passionate about inspiring wellness.
