One of the "giants" in the world of 20th-century illustration, Vernon Grant (1902-1990) created thousands of drawings and paintings for advertising products and magazines for over 50 years. His initial success and claim to fame occurred when he created the popular "Snap, Crackle, and Pop" characters for the Kellogg Company. Mary Lynn Norton is a curator at the Museum of York County who has worked with the Vernon Grant archive for twenty years.
