This book is one of a series which provides an illustrated introduction to different countries of the world. The books highlight the distinctive features of each country, enabling children to compare and contrast their lives with those of other lands and cultures. This volume is concerned with life in West Germany, discussing its recent turbulent past as well as the present political situation.
