"Founder of the Wildfowlers' Association of Great Britian and Ireland [W.A.G.B.I.] in 1908, now The British Association for Shooting and Conservation [B.A.S.C.]. Incorporating the Gamekeepers' Association of the United Kingdom, founded 1900." Stanley Duncan was the proprietor of a gunshop in Anlaby, on the Humber. He was a dedicated wildfowler and keen amateur photographer who recorded his activities with a glass-plate camera. This book presents a representative selection of photographs selected from Duncan's archive now in the posession of B.A.S.C. Wildfowling, rough shooting, otterhunting, punt gunning.
