MARY CRONK FARRELL is a celebrated and award-winning writer as well as the recipient of many major awards for her work in television journalism?including Emmy nominations for her television news coverage in Seattle. She is the 2002 Missionary Servant in the World Award winner from Catholic Life Ministries for living the faith in everyday life. She wrote Fire in the Hole (Clarion Books) and Daughters of the Desert: Stories of Remarkable Women from Christian, Jewish and Muslim Traditions (SkyLight Paths) and dozens of newspaper and magazine articles, including articles for Catholic Parent and National Catholic Reporter. Currently, she raises her three teenage children, while writing books and a newspaper column ?Everyday Grace” for the Spokane diocese’s The Inland Register. Mary is also a frequent presenter at workshops and retreats.
