Biografía del autor:
"What's for Dinner? Second Helpings" the essential cookery manual is written by Romilla Arber, a housewife who has not had any professional cookery training, but grew up in a household where good, nutritious home cooked food was JUST AS important, as it is in her home today. Born and raised in Basingstoke, Romilla graduated from Keele University with a Bachelor's degree in Law and History. She became a successful solicitor and retired from the legal profession when she became pregnant with her third child. Following her retirement from the legal profession, Romilla became a parent governor of a local school in Newbury, Berkshire where she currently lives with her husband and four children. She has also undertaken voluntary work in the village and is a key figure of the local community. For the past three years, she has devoted her time to writing "What's for Dinner? Second Helpings" an essential cookery bible, divided into weekly sections with a menu and shopping list for each week of the year. Romilla felt that knowing what to cook is what puts off most people from going into the kitchen, rather than the actual act of cooking. She discovered that parents who relied on convenience food were less likely to pass on basic cookery skills to their children. In 2008 Romilla founded The Food Education Trust, a charity dedicated to educating adults and children in the basic skills of cooking. All proceeds from the sale of "What's for Dinner? Second Helpings" will go to The Food Education Trust and will provide home economic style classes to both adults and children and will supply necessary cooking equipment to schools. "What's for Dinner? Second Helpings" is available at all good bookshops and online "What's for Dinner? Second Helpings" has recently won a Gourmand Award for "Best Easy Recipes".
