Reseña del editor:
This commentary on the Epistle of James uses a variety of charts and a verse-by-verse examination of the book to delve into the message of James. True inward faith will always bring about an outward reality, manifesting itself in a life of works. That is not to say that one is saved by works. Early in his epistle, James points out that the spiritual life finds its beginnings in the work of God who "brought us forth in the exercise of His will." However, if that inward life has sprung up in the life of the believer, it will result in a changed life. Using terms and expressions that are remarkably similar to Jesus and His Sermon on the Mount, James describes this working faith in simple, down-to-earth terms as he calls us to an active, shirt-sleeve Christianity.
Biografía del autor:

He currently serves as an assistant pastor at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and teaches as an adjunct at the Florida Campus of Trinity International University and at South Florida Bible College.
