Zion declares that God must rule and reign today in the midst of His people. God has never Intended that His people shall be ruled by the ungodly, but that they should establish the Theocracy,In which the laws and commandments and covenants of God shall be strictly enforced. This Zion does today. Zion stands as a bulwark of righteousness over against the corruption of the world. "Walk about Zion, and go around about her: Tell the towers thereof. Mark ye well her bulwarks, Consider her palaces. That ye may tell it to the generation following, For THIS GOD IS OUR GOD FOREVER AND EVER." Thus we see that God will bless His people today as of old; and the same mighty miracles are being done today In the healing of the sick in Zion as were done in days of old. 4. ZION HAS A FAMILY ALTAR IN EVERY HOME.--Psalm 84:1-8. "How amiable are Thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts! My soul longeth.yea, even falnteth for the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh crleth out unto the living God. Yea, the sparrow hath found her an house, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, Even Thine altars, O Lord of hosts. What a beautiful object lesson is given here from nature to teach God's people the necessity of providing for the coming generations! The Psalmist observes, how the swallow and the sparrow fly to and fro in the Temple court and build their nests not only In the crevices and cornicee of the temple, but even ventured, at times, to build a nest for their young In the altar itself, where the sacrifices were offered unto Jehovah for Israel.
