Not illustrated. 1805 Excerpt: ...More, who forfeited Tulloghbeg, Curraghmore, &c. within the'Barony of Dunkerron, (which lands he held as part of his mother's jointure) soon after 1640. He died about I699t leaving 11, Owen Roe O'Sullivan More, his only son and heir, who, by his wife, Julian, daughter of Philip O'Sullivan Beare, left an only son, 12, Daniel O'Sullivan More, of Tomies, aforesaid, born 1678. He obtained a grant of the lands of Tomies, temp. Anne; and, dying without legitimate issue, in April, 1754, was buried with some of his ancestors in the abbey of lrrelaghv (now called Mucruss) near Killarney§. Hester O'Sullivan, his relict, was buried at Killarney, in 171J6. Thus became extinct the elder branch of a family, which, in point of antiquity and early preeminence, can vie with the most distinguished in Europe! We shall now revert to the next, or younger branch, in which the representation was continued, and the right to the name and armorial bearings of O'Sullivan More solely vested, upon the demise of Daniel O'Sullivan More, of Tomies.
