Molly just smothered her babies, and sobbed, and hardly looked back once, 'oman all over but I (though I broke down trying to cheer her) Turned at the top Of the hill, and gave a good stare at the Old house, 331111 \vell-sweep, orchard, barn, the smoke from the chimney, and still one Handkerchief feebly fluttering, with the great sunrise behind all. 3103 That is the picture I saw, and see again at this minute, Plain as if this was the hill, and down by the creek there the homestead. Then it dropped into the past, with the life we had lived.
