Meggie the Witch and Other Stories - Softcover

Meggie the Witch and other stories are a selection of short children's stories which were originally written for my grandchildren Ayrton and Tilli, who enjoyed them immensely. I decided that if they enjoyed them so much then other children should enjoy them too, either reading them for themselves or having them read to them. Many of the stories are about animals some of which are family pets, Meggie is the comical one about her not being able to use her broomstick so has to have an alternative.

Mary Gray was born in 1943 in Wiltshire, but spent most of her life in St Albans where she attended the local schools.She and her husband Bob raised 2 children and now have 2 grandchildren.All of her working life was spent in and around St Albans in an office environment She lived in Spain for 9 months and returned to the UK in January 2005, after moving to Bedford.In the 80's she wrote for a sporting magazine doing racing reports and also had a couple of articles published in the local paper. Retired now she is concentrating on writing her children's stories. Her interests include Motor racing which she and her family have been interested in for the past 30 years and being involved in at a small level. She also enjoys reading thrillers, music, jigsaw puzzles, and photography.
