Thundering bulldozers shake all of Mole Town! Shafts crumble! Tunnels collapse! Stones rain down from above! Terrified mole citizens are blasted out of their burrows. Humans building above ground unknowingly threaten to destroy Mole Town and the very lives of the moles. Against all odds, two small mole brothers embark on a dangerous mission to battle against the giant human builders. Can the brave brothers save their fellow moles and the mole way of life? Can they keep their family and friends together? Will they survive this dangerous mission?
Biografía del autor:
Judith Windeler, whose pen name is Minerva Taylor, is a former teacher and librarian who has been a freelance writer for twenty years, and has published many humorous articles about her family in magazines and newspapers. She combines her lifelong interests in the environment and family values in 'The Mole Brothers' Magnificent Mission', employing these themes in this tale of two tiny moles fighting extinction by humans. In a role reversal the mole children take responsibility from adults in a brave attempt to save family and friends. The author is currently working on an adventure story of a small American boy who wants to be grown up and dreams of driving a Mini in London. An American living in London, Judith spends her summers with family in Quogue, Long Island. She is married with two children who provided the inspiration for this story.
