Reseña del editor:
''Till we draw our last breath, till our bodies are cold in the ground... we stick together, brothers, warriors, hunters, friends for life.'' Exiled. Blinded. Lost. Maklan of the Deer Tribe of the North, journeys through the ancient landscape of Dartmoor in search of a real father, his true tribe and freedom. In his darkest hour he stumbles across a tribe of lost souls eking out a chaotic, violent existence. No one can contain them. Until they cross the line. That line is Serra of the River Tribe. With her, they seal their fate, forcing themselves on a collision course with Maklan and all tribes of moor, river and sea. Will Maklan survive this harrowing quest to find a land he can call home, a tribe he can call his own? Biografía del autor:
Caspar Walsh is the author of the powerful and moving memoir, Criminal and Blood Road, a semi autobiographical crime novel set in contemporary Britain. Both books were published to international critical acclaim. Caspar writes regular features and comment for The Guardian and Observer and a column for Positive News. He has written two feature-length docu-dramas and several short stories for BBC Radio 4 and regularly broadcasts on local and national radio and television. He is the founder of the award winning youth mentoring charity, Write to Freedom. He currently lives in Devon and is writing his first graphic novel. Using key elements of his life long study and love of mythology, Tribe Warrior has been drawn from Caspar’s extensive work with disaffected youth in and out of prison over the last fifteen years. To date, over three hundred students have experienced Tribe Warrior. The response to the story has been exceptional with students always wanting more. Tribe Warrior continues to mirror Caspar’s own extraordinary, redemptive journey through life.
