Dorothy Horne is a retired first-grade teacher, newspaper columnist, and blogger. She writes about the grace she has witnessed through the impact of mental illness and Alzheimer’s on her family, as well as the joy and humor of ordinary days. She lives in East Texas with her husband and their schnauzer, Angus. They have two daughters and four grandsons.
