Verses for Mom's Heart
My mother's love has seen me through the best and worst of times.
-From the poem "My Mother's Love" by Steven L. Layne
"These are really sweet poems with lovely illustrations. Every mom will be touched."
-Doc Kirby, WTBF AM/FM
"From these poignant pages I found comfort knowing that someday the same realizations Layne expresses in his verses my children will feel someday."
-Jackie Riley, Times Record News
This illustrated collection of poems from a child's viewpoint includes poignant examples of the countless ways a mother supports and encourages, celebrates, and comforts. "My Mother's Love," "Mom Deserves a Medal," and "Legacy of Love" are some of the nineteen verses that illuminate the many reasons mothers everywhere deserve our appreciation and praise. The volume is a generous gift of love for a mother any time of the year and makes the perfect companion to Dr. Layne's first collection of poetry, Verses for Dad's Heart.
