I believe that things happen for a reason and that God has a plan for each of us. Writing my story brought me to a journey of self-discovery and healing, and I now realise that people change so that we can let go. Sometimes good things fall apart so that better things come together. All I ever wanted was to be a wife and mother, and I was blessed with three wonderful children. My youngest daughter June went to Heaven December 19th 2010. We miss her so much. The memories of the fun and laughter that she brought into our lives will be with us forever. I thought nothing could be worse than a marriage break up after forty years, but losing a child is a million times worse. I pray that June is watching over us and she approves of the book that she encouraged me to write.
