Ann has Dementia is part of the Books Beyond Words series - telling stories in pictures to help people with learning and communication difficulties explore and understand their own experiences. Anns GP and supporter try to provide the right care for her at home in the early days of her dementia until Ann becomes so confused that she moves into residential care. Guidelines are provided (as text at the back) for carers and supporters, health and other professionals who provide support to people with learning disabilities. There is also a suggested storyline and recommended helpful organisations and further written resources.
