This is the first ever "Champions League Yearbook"; a book dedicated to providing all football fans with every single scrap of information, fact and statistic about the competition, its history, the managers, players and games which lead to the final in Athens in May 2007. Sponsored by Vodafone, sponsors of the Champions League, the book will provide fans with a day-by-day, match-by-match guide to the entire tournament, including the preliminary and qualifying stages. It will feature major players such as Thierry Henry, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Hernan Crespo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Ronaldinho, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Andrei Shevchenko and Kaka, plus big name coaches like Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, Fabio Capello, Frank Rijkaard, Carlo Ancelotti, and Rafa Benitez. Following the tried and trusted format of the "2006 World Cup Diary" from the same creative team, the book will be clearly laid out, boast bundles of photographs and present detailed statistics on every player, game and team, plus managers and coaches, historical facts and features and provide an analysis of every match which takes place in the 2007 tournament up to the glittering final. The "Champions League Yearbook" will become an annual event, being published in early August each year as the first British clubs enter into the new season's competition.
