This text will show the reader the potential of using electronic media to display images. It aims to educate the end user to the value and efficiency of digital portfolios and serves as a guide to creating the perfect digital portfolio. The book combines the aesthetic with the technical, and features tips and ideas from photographers and designers who have published their work on CDs and websites. It also includes input from art directors and art buyers from national agencies, magazines and the international marketplace as to how best to show and organise your work to maximum effect. Chapters are broken down into identity (your audience; client focused content; delivery systems); tools (preparing the images; layout; interactivity; multimedia; response forms; file management); and people (interviews; gallery of selected web pages and digital media portfolios; URLs).
Biografía del autor:
Stephen Romaniello has been lecturer in Visual Communication at Pima Community College, Tucson, Arizona for the past ten years. He has written many publications and articles for leading magazines, and has been awarded several Golden Addys by Tucson Ad Club.
