Eva?s grandmother sends her a gift of two opera tickets and a book. Once her exams at the university are over, Eva decides to take advantage of her vacation to pay her a visit. Besides, visiting her grandmother might help her forget about her recent boyfriend problems. Once she and her grandmother are together, the two women discover that they have many things to tell each other since they last met, over two years ago. Tras recibir de su abuela dos entradas para la ópera y un libro, Eva aprovecha que los exámenes en la universidad ya han terminado para tomarse unos días de vacaciones. Así, además, podrá olvidar su último desengaño amoroso. Allí se reencuentra con su abuela, ambas tienen muchas cosas que contarse pues hace más de dos años que no se ven. Sin embargo no acaba de entender el interés de su abuela por asistir a la representación de dos óperas cuyos compositores, Mozart y Wagner, fueron dos favoritos del imperio nazi; Eva adivina en las conversaciones con su abuela, que ésta tiene algo muy importante que contarle.

He was born in Madrid. His achievements as a professional writer include a prolific career as a television script writer, having worked on programs such as “Sesame Street” and “Yupi’s World.” He has also written numerous books for children and young adults, including The Rose of Kilimanjaro and The Invisible Friend. Among the awards he has received for his work are the “Literoy Award” for best novel and the “Silver Bank Story Award.”
