[37], sig.e2v blank, 1 - 126 [2] blank leaf. Signatures: a-d4 e A-Q4. Title page within a fleuron frame. Dedication signed: I.D. (in Greek characters) i.e. the translator James Duport. This is only the third translation of the Book of Common Prayer into Greek ; Pp. [2] 1 - 115 [3] 117 - 171 [1] blank. Signatures: A-Y4. Text continuous despite pagination. Title page, and P3v have device: lozenge with motto in border " Hinc lucem et pocula sacra " surrounding a figure flanked by two trees, and standing behind a tablet inscribed " Alma mater Cantabrigia ". Printed in double columns. Both books have a red wash on their edges, and are clean, crisp, bright copies. Later 17th century (? ) polished panelled calf, lightly rubbed the upper forcorner chipped with the board showing through, the backstrip with four raised bands, original red title label lettered in gilt, and ' Camb | 1665 | ' lettered directly in gilt at the foot.
