Buch
Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. No Jacket. Two volumes (complete). A shabbily stately set. The Prussian blue boards of both books have stamped gilt borders, crest, titling. They are worn all about, scuffed, marked from handling and shelving. They are sturdy and sure. Untrimmed pages. Some pages are also uncut. Despite some aging wear here and there, the contents are comfortable and assured. This edition has been updated with previously omitted names and paragraphs (the book was a succès de scandale on its publication; its exposé and denunciation of the Prussian court would have ruined him for life had not the Revolution of 1789 saved him). The pages are clean, clear, bold, confident, scandalously entertaining, assured. fn. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
