paperback. Zustand: Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: No Dust Jacket. 1148 pages. Dark reddish - brown cover with black text and inlay. General shelf wear to spine, corners and edges. Front cover shows various smudges and stains, and a patch of increased wear top right. Rear cover shows increased wear along top edge, various smudges and stains, and a large area of water damage. Most of lower half of rear cover is affected, except near spine. On upper half of cover, the outside 3 cm are affected. Water damage has caused vertical wrinkles along the lower edge, and left the cover surface uneven. Water damage extends onto the corners of the page blocks, but not onto the pages themselves. Spine shows sunning, a dent and a series of white smudges near top, and increased wear top and bottom. At top, 1 cm superficial tear at hinge with rear cover. At bottom, 1 cm superficial tears at both hinges. Inside front cover has name in ink which has bled through onto FEP. Inside front cover and FEP are smudged, especially along top edge. On page after FEP, and rear aspect of FEP, a prominent black ink blot, 2 cm long, is present on lower edge. Rear aspect of FEP has marks in pencil. Title page is detached at top 4 cm. Text is clean, bright and tight throughout.
