Accompanied by a typed signed letter from David Playfair to a Peter(?) addressed from 90 Dartmouth Park Hill, London N19 5HU dated 27 January, 1992 and consisting of about 300 words in which he says he has tried 'to provide a faithful, rather than a poetic rendering of the German original.' Signed post it note to Peter ? on the definitive version saying 'please make a point of destroying the other one so as to avoid confusion.' Also included a page of photocopied notes on the historical background and key figures such as Richard I, Coeur-de-Lion and Theodoric the Great. An historical drama about Henry Hohenstaufen originally commissioned to celebrate the Emperor Wilhelm II's daughter Viktoria Luise's marriage to the Duke of Braunschweig. Very good.
