(17821867) was an English cleric, schoolmaster, topographer, and writer on Freemasonry. His correspondent, with the unlikely name of Crucefix (17971850), was an outspoken Freemason who established a journal called the 'Freemasons Quarterly Review' in 1834. Note this book belonged to Doric Lodge No. 121 Brantford, C.W. (now Ontario). Founded in 1859, it closed in 1999 due to a lack of membership.
