The book was printed at the University Press, Cambridge by Welch, Bigelow & Company. Birket Foster first illustrated Gray's Poems in 1855. This edition includes sixteen poems including "Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard", eleven posthumous poems and fragments, and three extracts. The ornamental decorations are by W. Harry Rogers. A very attractive copy.
