Scattered foxing, mainly to endpapers and prelims, otherwise contents clean. A Very Good copy. A history of the railway company including construction of the line, rolling stock, deliveries and goods carried, with notes on places of importance on the route and the 1849 Rules and Regulations. Sir Francis Bond Head (1793-1875) was an officer in the Royal Engineers and Lieut-General of Upper Canada at the time of the 1837 rebellion; he wrote several works on travel and politics including "Bubbles from the Brunnens of Nassau" 1834.
