A scarce work publishing the speeches and lectures delivered at a youth event held by the WrocÅ aw regional branch of the Polish Association of Former Political Prisoners of Hitler's Prisons and Concentration Camps (PZBWP)*. This organization comprises Polish war veterans and others, who were political prisoners of the Nazis during WWII and the Holocaust, and is part of broader international coalition of similar organizations known as the International Federation of Resistance Fighters - Association of Anti-Fascists. The publication includes essays, memoirs and other writings, including poetry, credited to a number of different members and affiliates of the organization, often citing their prisoner number and location of imprisonment, in addition to their name. Among the contributors is the acclaimed Polish historian and former political prisoner Stefan Maria KuczyÅ ski (1904 -1985) (p.10). Wrappers with some light rubbing to extremities. Front cover with a closed tear in the upper right corner and some light staining. Interior with light age toning to pages. Wrappers in good+, interior in near fine condition overall.
