The first edition of this poetry collection in the publisher's original paper wraps, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Terence Armstrong (1912-1970), better known as John Gawsworth (and also sometimes known as T. I. F. Armstrong), was a British writer, poet and compiler of anthologies, both of poetry and of short stories. In this anthology is a selection of the lyrical verses he produced during the six months preceding his enlistment in the Royal Air Force. In the publisher's original paper wraps, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Paper wraps are in excellent condition, though the staples are beginning to rust. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Dust wrapper remains bright and unchipped, though with a couple of small stains to the slightly sunned spine of the wrap. Near Fine. book.
