From the collection of actor Van Heflin, who played Timothy Haslam in the film, in his personal tabbed file folder. Based on Goudge's 1944 novel, "Green Dolphin Country." Love interest upon love interest gathers in the English Channel and New Zealand in the 19th century, with Donna Reed, Lana Turner, Edmund Gwenn and Richard Hart "having a go of it." Van Heflin plays a carpenter who kills a man for love's sake and flees. Winner of an Academy Award. 8 x 10 inches, some slightly varied in size. Near Fine overall.
