Separated into lessons and subjects, the book has French words and their equivalents running parallel down the pages, with explanations given beforehand. Published in Montreal, the book also gives an interesting insight into the French Canadian education and culture. In quarter-calf binding with paper covered boards. Externally sound, the boards, extremities, joints and back strip are worn, and there are markings to the boards and back strip. Internally, the pages are firmly bound but are foxed, spotted and age toned throughout. Good Only. book.

Includes alphabetical list of heraldic terms. Tight, bright, and unmarred. Binding intact with some discoloration and foxing. Tape on title page, does not interfere with text. Rebound in red cloth with gilt lettering with new endpapers. 95-334 pages (two of two volume), 21 unnumbered leaves of plates (copper plate engravings), illustrations. Untrimmed, edges, and few uncut pages. Otherwise, a nice copy of the Part II [dictionary annex].
