Hardback (No Dust Wrapper.). Hardback. Physically 6¾" x 4¼" (0.2 kg); 120pp; c 1935. From the preface: "This little book (the title of which must be taken as expressing aspiration rather than assertion) is a fruit of many years work in preparing candidates for Confirmation. During the past few years the Instructions have been fully written out and a copy given to each member of the classes. In the past year they have been carefully revised, slightly enlarged, and copied by a typist. Friends of mature age, both clerical and lay, who have seen them in this form, have urged publication. Hence the present volume." || The book is on my shelves and will be carefully packed and posted from the pastoral paradise of Peasedown St. John, Bath, by a real bookseller in a real book shop - with my personal guarantee and my beady eye on the Consumer Contracts Regulations. REMEMBER! Buying my copy means the bookshop Jack Russells get their supper! My Book #160879|| Condition: Good - in Poor DJ. Unlaminated DJ a little edgeworn and faded with tears at head, tail and corners and some loss. Gently bruised at head & tail of spine and corners. 4' price sticker to the ffep. Text more than acceptable.
