Bookplate to front endpaper & pastedown. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Spine has crushing to both ends. Book has forward lean. White staining present.

We had very little 'spirit' with us, and wished we had brought more. The boards are much marked, worn, scuffed all about from handling, use, storage. They are secure and steady. The contents are resolutely cheerful. They have foxing, handling marks, storage/age related marks. The page trims are gilded (tarnished). The pages are diligent, certain, convivial, generous. fk.
