Kein Fotograf der Welt hat Iron Maiden wohl häufiger abgelichtet als der berühmte englische Rockfotograf Ross Halfin. Er arbeitete mit der Band seit ihren Anfangstagen in den späten Siebzigern zusammen und erlebte hautnah die Hochs und Tiefs ihrer Karriere. Der Bildband enthält teilweise unveröffentlichte Aufnahmen der Band von ihren Anfängen, unter anderem von Konzerten mit ihrem ersten Sänger Paul Di Anno in kleinen Clubs und Auftritten im Vorprogramm von Kiss oder das erste Bandfoto mit Bruce Dickinson.
