A book put together for family friends by the art historian John Russell (who writes the introduction) and his sister Marjorie Sedgwick to commemorate the life of their sister Pamela Russell. The text consists mainly of her woodcut illustrations of birds. She appears to have used these mainly for Christmas cards. She attended Chelsea School of Art where her work was admired. Signed presentation copy from John Russell and Marjorie Sedgwick. Issued sans d/w. Very good indeed. Signedes.
