The series also spun off "Beauty Shop" (2005), directed by Bille Woodruff, starring Queen Latifah and Alicia Silverstone, as well as the television series, "Barbershop," starring Omar Gooding and Gbenga Akinnagbe, which premiered on the Showtime cable network in August, 2005.
