Zustand: Very Good. 3 parts bound as one. xxxvi, 645; xvi, 160; [viii], 406 pp. Full maroon morocco with gilt borders and initials to boards, with raised bands, gilt-stamped decorations and lettering to spine; red silk endpapers, all edges gilt. Rubbing to bands and especially the front joint, minor scratches to boards, but generally clean, gilt bright. Minor yellowing to page edges, and a tide mark to the top edge. Beautiful exhibition binding by Zaehnsdorf, with a blind stamp to rear pastedown. Binding 26.5 cms tall. This is a heavy item and may require additional postage if being shipped outside of Europe.
