Berlin, G. Reimer, 1821-1822. 8vo. 948 pp. [viii, 458; iv, 478]. Uniform 20th-century grey cloth with gilt title on the spines. Rare and important list of plants in the Berlin Botanical Gardens, written by the German botanist, herpetologist and malacologist Johann Heinrich Friedrich Link (1767-1851), also author of the famous, later Icones Plantarum Rariorum horti regii botanici Berolinensis (1844). Some light toning, as usual. The bindings are simple but sound. Stafleu and Cowan, 4695.
