Illustrated by Louis K. Harlow. (illustrator). Very Good (binding bright with minor wear; contents clean & tight). 8vo., pictorial green cloth, stamped in two shades of brown & gilt; top edge gilt; 200 pages First Edition. This title was issued in various bindings. Also, published in London in the same year by Longmans Green publishers. This appears to be one of the more uncommon bindings. Copies bound in two-toned cloth bindings (the more common binding) were probably intended for the English trade, states Merle Johnson in "American First Editions.".
