Sylvia Plath, Ted Hughes' wife, did two recordings with Fassett in 1958 and 1959 for the Woodberry Poetry Studio at Harvard, Plath and Hughes were also personal friends of the Fassetts: in her Unabridged Journals (January 10, 1959) she described a visit: "Glimmer last night of pleasure, which slipped away.
