Early printing of this classic work. Octavo, original cloth. Very good in a very good dust jacket. The name of the Game is Money. It was Lord Keynes who first saw that the handling of it is a Game. And it is 'Adam Smith's' contention that all the books on money speak only of economics and statistics - and they're only half the Game. The other half of the Money Game is people, individually and together, emotional investor and irrational crowd. This book is about how the Money Game is played and how the players really behave.

Erstausgabe
First edition of this classic work. Octavo, original cloth. Near fine in a near fine dust jacket. Jacket design by S. A. Summit, Inc.
Zustand: Very Good. SIGNED! NY: Random House 1968. 5th printing. Hardcover 8vo 302 pgs. Signed 'Adam Smith' on front endpaper, no inscription, signature matches another one I found online. Very good to near fine in a near very good dust jacket. Black cloth with bright gilt, blue and green lettering, design. Top edge dyed yellow. Contents clean and binding sound. Jacket lightly edgeworn. Jacket spine ends worn and torn and have some white tape repairs on reverse side. Laid in is an ink note on 'New York Magazine' stationary 'Dear Jim - Thought you might enjoy having this autographed copy of the Money Game. Much Love' with illegible signature, looks like Po or Jo, probably not Smith/Goodman. (Stock Exchange, Investments) Inquire if you need further information.
