She was an English socialite and through her mother was the illegitimate granddaughter of King Edward VII. In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart and bright, with some light bumping to the head and tail of spine and extremities. Slight fading to the spine and an ink stain to the head of the rear board. Previous owner's ink signature to the verso of the front free-endpaper. A few light pencil inscriptions to the rear free-endpapers. Internally, hinges are tender but firm. Book is firmly bound. Light spotting to the fore-edge, not affecting the pages, which are generally bright and clean. Very Good. book.
