Unbound. Zustand: Near Fine. First separate edition, trade issue. Broadside. Single sheet of cardstock measuring 23" x 9.25" printed on both sides, folded to form eight pages as issued. Text printed in red and black. Illustrated front panel reproduces a black-and-white portrait of photographer Leland Payton, taken by Steve Stelljes. Nicely printed in red and black from hand-set text; designed by Philip Metzger. Small brown soil spot visible on verso of one panel, barely visible, near fine. Illustrated broadside issue for commercial distribution, issued as a broadside, most of which were inserted in the 'Missouri Library Association Quarterly', Vol.30, No.4, 1969. It was also issued in a different format, for private distribution, in a limited edition of 100 copies on Japanese hand-made paper. Uncommon. *OCLC* locates two holding.
