Buch
[978-0-9869365-0-0] 2011. (Mass market paperback) Fine. viii, 109pp. 8vo. An interpretation of the discussions of the First Ministers, held in Ottawa in November 1981, in which they, along with Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, made the effort to get a deal on a new Constitution for Canada. No official minutes or recordings were made of these talks, but the author was indeed present. He argues that the English-speaking Premiers were far more influential in the outcome of the constitutional package than what credit was given them. The book is dedicated to Allan Blakeney and Roy Romanow, both former Premiers of the Province of Saskatchewan. Fine copy.
